Position Summary
Obtain, control, distribute and update all manufacturers, vendors and general publications timely; to account for their billings and to rectify audit findings/discrepancies. Indent sufficient stock of stationery, office equipment and maintain a record of their servicing; to rectify audit findings/discrepancies and account for all equipment and publications billings.
Key Accountability
- Monitor, receive, record, distribute, update, and maintain all manuals and revisions, including library services.
- Ensure proper recording, accountability, control, issue, filing, and submission of all Airworthiness Data, Source Documents, and resultant Engineering/Modification instructions, including submission to Modification Meetings.
- Record, maintain, monitor, dispatch, and control all engineering instructions as required by the department.
- Prepare, maintain master copies, file, and dispatch MAB Revisions, Process Specifications, and Engineering Procedures as instructed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
- Technical Publications Section
Technical Publications Section
- Coordinate requests for new/additional publications or missing pages, raise Purchase Requests or correspondence, and monitor receipt.
- Renew publication and manual revision services at least three months before expiry.
- Register, receive, monitor, and verify all contractual, purchased, and requested publications; maintain publisher/manufacturer and title records.
- Check invoices for validity within two weeks before submission.
- Ensure publications are current per revision cycles (at least annually), resolve discrepancies with manufacturers/vendors, and incorporate revisions onboard aircraft and in distribution within three weeks of receipt.
- Maintain availability of master copies, update Location Reports, alpha-numerical records, and filing systems, and ensure controlled access to the Technical Publications library.
- Ensure sufficient stationery stock and maintain records of manuals for other operators handled by MAB.
- Liaise with manufacturers on costs for incorporating MAB Revisions and advise on pages affecting or superseding MAB Revisions.
- Receive, check, date-stamp, update, and distribute master and holder copies within three weeks of receipt.
- Liaise with Duty Manager (MTB/ASU) for replacement Certificates of Approval and place required manuals onboard newly delivered aircraft prior to CAAM inspection.
Modification Section
- Obtain, date-stamp, master, record, upload (AMOS), file, and archive Source Documents from manufacturers/vendors.
- Prepare, compile, and distribute Modification Meeting agendas and documents bi-weekly.
- Circulate non-meeting Source Documents and modification information to relevant fleet managers or engineering executives.
Qualifications and Working Experience
- Diploma or SPM/ STPM (with 3 years of related working experience)
Key Challenges
- Ensure on-time receipt and action of technical data and publications support for operations and production areas.
- Ensure administrative systems and procedures are adhered to for efficient operation within the section.
- Ensure timely updates of Master Distribution Listing of technical data and registration of Airworthiness Data for aircraft/component.
