Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR & Administration Manager to oversee the firm’s human resources functions and day-to-day administrative operations. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive and well-organised workplace, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws, and supporting the firm’s lawyers and staff in their daily work. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a professional services environment, with the ability to balance HR responsibilities alongside office administration.

Responsibilities
  • Human Resources Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with labour laws and firm practices.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle of lawyers, interns, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and exit procedures to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Handle employee relation matters, including grievances and disciplinary issues, with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, filings, and HR audits.
  • Organize training and development programs as required.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, attendance and leave tracking.
  • Assist with payroll data preparation and liaise with relevant service providers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for general HR queries and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Administrative Responsibilities
  • Oversee overall office administration to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Manage facilities, vendors, housekeeping, and office supplies.
  • Coordinate with IT, security, and other service providers.
  • Handle travel arrangements, reimbursements, and bill processing, administrative budgets.
  • Maintain proper legal and administrative documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to partners and lawyers as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and firm standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Professional HR qualifications or postgraduate studies are an advantage.
  • Around 3-5 years of experience in HR and administrative roles; experience in a law firm or professional services environment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Occasional extended hours may be required during peak periods.
