Job summary

A healthcare institution in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The candidate will oversee operations, ensure high-quality nursing care, and lead critical care staff. At least 5–7 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 2–3 years in a leadership role in critical care, is required. Qualifications

• SRN Registered with the Nursing Board.
• Possess post basic certificate in Critical Care Nursing.
• Minimum 5–7 years of nursing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role in Critical Care department.

Responsibilities

• In charge of the operations of the assigned unit and responsible for management activities.
• Ensure a high level of nursing care is delivered cost-effectively.
• Lead the team of critical care staff and participate in Nursing Education Program.
• Ensure safe care delivery for a multidisciplinary group of patients.
• Participate in clinical audits as required.
• Maintain harmonious working relationships and excellent customer service.

Skills

Sound knowledge of principles of Critical Care Nursing in a multidisciplinary setup

Advanced knowledge in critical care nursing, patient safety, and clinical risk management
