Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement network solutions based on client needs and industry best practices.
• Hands on, configure and maintain enterprise level network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve network issues.
• Provide technical support for network-related incidents and problems.
• Perform periodically preventive maintenance for network & security equipment.
• Troubleshoot network related problems and work with different teams to resolve it quickly.
• Monitor and analyse email traffic for phishing, malware and unauthorized access attempts, ensuring timely incident response and implementing policies to enhance email security.
• Provide and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams and configurations.
• Generate periodical reports on network performance, security, and utilization.
• Lead network infrastructure projects from beginning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and comply with project objectives.
• Stay up to date with emerging new technologies and industry trends and apply it to network solutions.
• To perform other related duties assigned from time to time, in alignment to company’s goal and objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or a related field in network computing/communication.
• At least five (5) years of hands‑on network experience configuring routing protocols, switching, wireless, and firewall configuration in medium/large network.
• Strong knowledge and hands‑on of networking protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, WLAN, NAC, SDWAN).
• Enterprise-level products include but are not limited to: Aruba Networks, Cisco Systems, Huawei, H3C, Fortinet, Sophos, Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks, and Ruckus Networks.
• Must have experience and knowledge implementing security network devices in firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Cisco), APT, IPS/IDS, anti‑DDOS solution, endpoint security, firewall policies analyser.
• Proven expertise in configuring and managing email security platforms and analysing email logs to detect and mitigate threats effectively.
• Certifications in any discipline network such as CCNP/HCNP & security are highly desirable.
• Skill in network security, including firewall configurations and intrusion prevention systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to standby and work during non-working hours and outstation once require.
