Qualifications

The Senior/ Network Security Engineer is responsible for working on network security projects, including the design, implementation, and operations of Network security infrastructure. This role involves working on technologies such as but not limited to Firewalls (Palo Alto/Checkpoint/Fortinet), VPN, IPS/IDS,NAC (Forescout/ISE), F5 Load Balancer, Routing and Switching and Symantec MFA.

We are looking for a technically strong candidate who is also willing to learn new technologies. He/ She will concentrate on network projects to implement solutions that align with the overall Infrastructure roadmap for network security. This role is focused on both operational support and project-based delivery.

Make an Impact by:

• Producing an integrated solution covering all areas and in line with IT strategy.

Gathering the Infrastructure requirements for all projects with infrastructure deliverables.

Prepare HLD and LLD diagrams that identifies all infrastructure components including Network infrastructure, Security requirements and Compute/Storage requirement for the solution.

• Operations and management of network security solutions.
• To support network projects such as deployment & migration of new Firewalls, VPN, IPS and NAC including implementation of routing & layer 2 switching.
• Ensure the solutions are in compliance and integration with enterprise architecture & Infosec policy for Infrastructure and Security systems by reviewing and advising on new and existing IT projects.
• To ensure the deliverables meet all related engineering, planning, and operational standards.
• To identify potential network issues and risks, and to provide workable technical solutions for mitigation.
• To document network performance in order to take proactive and corrective action as needed.
• Playing a major role in the selection of any new IT, infrastructure or technology solution.

Skills for Success:

• Degree in computer science/ Information Technology. Candidates with Network Industry certification (i.e CCNA, CCNP) or Professional Network Security certification is preferred.
• At least 7-8 years of experience in Corporate Network Security is essential for the role.
• Hands-on experience in Firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortinet), IPS/ IDS (Palo Alto), and VPNs are required
• Experience in area of Network (CISCO), Security Orchestration (Algosec),Load balancers (F5),and Authentication Systems.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Data Centre network & Security industry standards relevant to data communications / networking and computing.
• Experience in Software Defined Networking (SDN) on Cisco ACI will be advantageous.
• Knowledge on Security best practices and experience in Network solutioning, Operations and Project Management.
• Willing to work on either (i) office hours with 24x7 standby whenever needed OR shift basis (mainly night shift, e.g. 9hrs x 5 days a week)
