Qualifications

Network Infrastructure Engineer (Structured Cabling)

We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer (Structured Cabling) to support the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of structured cabling systems across industrial facilities, offices, and project sites nationwide. This role ensures reliable physical network connectivity to support operational and business systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, install, test, and maintain structured cabling systems including copper and fibre optic cabling.
  • Carry out cable routing, termination, labelling, patching, and certification in accordance with industry standards.
  • Perform testing and certification using appropriate cabling and fibre testing tools.
  • Support network infrastructure deployment including data outlets, patch panels, racks, and cabinets.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify cabling faults affecting network and communication systems.
  • Ensure all cabling installations comply with TIA/EIA, ISO, and local safety standards.
  • Prepare and maintain cabling layout drawings, test reports, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors during installation and upgrade projects.
  • Support system expansion, relocation, and renovation works involving cabling infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to technicians during project execution.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in structured cabling installation, testing, or maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of copper and fibre optic cabling (CAT6 / CAT6A, fibre termination).
