Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse operations activities.
- Establish customer rapport and improve service level by holding progressive meetings with customers to achieve improvement objectives.
- Resolve all service level issues in a timely manner and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Maintain performance measurement (KPI) for customer & internal activities to achieve customer SLA and expectations.
- Ensure continuous improvement and corrective & preventive actions for issues.
- Ensure Logistics Manager / Shift Manager carry out their respective roles and responsibilities according to the job description.
- Ensure SOP compliance for all internal and external required processes.
- Ensure warehouse staff comply with company policy (safety, quality & etc).
- Submit management reports and attend management meetings.
- Apply Gemba on the warehouse floor to continuously improve.
- Lead governance, reporting and review frameworks to provide a holistic view of all operational integration project activities.
- Take up any assignments given by the superior.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in logistics or supply chain management in supervision or management of logistics or related field.
- Experience with Warehouse Management System and knowledge of warehouse functions, layout, international logistics, transport, customs or trade departments/functions.
- Good analytical skills in costing, P&L and data analysis of process and system.
- Good trouble‑shooting skills to establish root causes and provide effective solutions.
- A self‑starter with a track record of high performance work without immediate management supervision.
- Proven experience running effective teams and working with core team members and cross‑functional teams in a matrix‑managed environment.
- Ability to focus on key deliverables and prioritize results.
