🕘 Working Hours: 9 AM – 7 PM
💼 Role Type: Full-Time

💰 Salary: RM 3000 - RM 4500

About the Role

At Astrix Visual & Eagle Digital, we produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and visual content for brands across Singapore, Malaysia, and international markets.

We are looking for a Junior Motion Graphic Designer with strong fundamentals, good design sense, and the hunger to grow in a real creative studio environment.

This is not a training role. This is a growth role for designers who already know their tools and want to level up fast.

You will work closely with:

• Senior Motion Designers
• Video Editors
• Creative Director
• Brand & Strategy Team

If you are still at “learning basics” stage, this role is not suitable.

What You’ll Be Doing

Motion Design & Animation

• Create motion graphics for:
  • Social media content
  • Brand videos
  • Explainer videos
  • Marketing & promotional videos
• Animate:
  • Text
  • Shapes
  • Icons
  • Transitions
  • Visual elements with proper timing & flow
• Build clean, structured compositions
• Assist in more complex animation sequences under senior guidance

Design Support

• Support Senior Designers in:
  • Visual composition
  • Layout design
  • Asset preparation
  • Animation clean‑up & refinement
• Prepare motion assets for video editors (lower thirds, overlays, transitions, etc.)

Asset & File Management

• Organise project files properly
• Follow naming conventions & folder structures
• Maintain clean, editable After Effects project files

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with:
  • Video Editors
  • Creative Director
  • Project Coordinators
• Understand briefs clearly and execute accurately
• Take feedback seriously and improve quickly

Skill Growth & Development

• Continuously improve:
  • Motion quality
  • Timing & easing

• Be coached towards senior‑level standard

Who We’re Looking For

• Good working knowledge of:
  • After Effects (must be able to animate independently)
  • Illustrator & Photoshop (for asset prep & design support)
• Confident in handling:
  • Keyframes (position, scale, rotation, opacity)
  • Easing & timing
  • Text animation
  • Shape layers
  • Simple transitions & motion effects
  • Masking & basic compositing
• Has good design sense (layout, spacing, balance, visual hierarchy)
• Can follow storyboards & visual directions accurately
• Able to execute without constant hand‑holding
• Takes feedback without ego
• Disciplined, responsible, and consistent
• Serious about building a career in:
