A manufacturing company in Penang is seeking an experienced individual to manage moulding operations. The successful candidate will lead technicians, oversee equipment maintenance, and ensure production of defect-free parts. Responsibilities include managing spare parts inventory, addressing quality issues, and preparing regular reports. Qualifications

• Experience in managing moulding equipment and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills for process evaluation and resolution.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead molding technicians and operators to produce defect-free parts.
• Manage spare parts inventory and technical breakdowns.
• Prepare and execute maintenance schedules for equipment.

Job description

To ensure all moulding equipment can operate without any technical breakdown.

To support and manage equipment spare parts and spare parts inventory control for mouldings

To prepare /publish analysis and improvement plan on equipment downtime.

To prepare/execute scheduled periodic maintenance for moulding equipment.

Process:

To lead moulding technician & operator produce parts free of quality defects.

To handle all quality issues in moulding before submitting for QA buy off

To evaluate process and resolve daily process.

To ensure all the operation carry out according to SOP & OI

To support on moulding planning to ease and reduce the set up down time.

Establish process flow/OI for new and existing product

Establish new process parameter for new tooling and work with tooling engineer for improvement.

Routing updates into {Power Link for all Moulded parts & Secondary Parts.

Others:

To always maintain 5’S and housekeeping

To always comply safety at workstation

Responsible for molding customer complaints and respond to customer

Take lead on molding WIP count on weekly basis.

Training and development plan for molding workers.

Submit weekly/monthly report to HOD without fail
