Job summary

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for mold usage, routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Ensure molds operate properly; conduct regular inspections, analysis, improvement, and daily maintenance.
  • Monitor mold condition and production quality issues; work closely with Production to resolve mold-related problems and ensure smooth production.
  • Participate in new mold trials, sample runs, pilot production, and production validation.
  • Implement and record mold maintenance plans; verify error-proofing (poka-yoke) devices.
  • Actively participate in team activities, safety programs, and 5S initiatives; comply with management instructions.
  • Conduct regular production floor inspections; support timely mold changes and replacement of related components.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, particularly related to mold performance and reliability.
  • Perform mold failure analysis and compile OEE-related data.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary school / technical certificate or above.
  • Experience: Solid fitter/mechanical foundation with relevant mold training.
  • Able to independently perform mold maintenance and repair.
  • Capable of analyzing mold failures and resolving technical issues independently.
  • Skills: Die casting molds, maintenance, and repair techniques.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, teamwork spirit, good communication and coordination skills, and service-oriented mindset.
  • Preferred:
  • Ability to read mold drawings.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mold or equipment maintenance.
  • Welding license or overhead crane license is an advantage.
