We're now looking for Inside Sales Executives based in Malaysia to drive our growth across Southeast Asia. This role is key to helping SMBs discover how Wati can transform customer engagement through WhatsApp and conversational automation.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Inside Sales Executive, you'll own the full sales cycle — from qualifying leads to closing deals — primarily with SMB and mid-market clients across Malaysia, Singapore, and the wider SEA region. You'll convert inbound opportunities, proactively prospect new ones, and collaborate with marketing and success teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, qualification, demo, and closing
  • Handle inbound leads efficiently while building outbound pipeline within your assigned markets
  • Conduct online demos to showcase Wati's platform and tailor solutions to customer needs
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Customer Success to maximize conversion and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Gather market feedback to help refine Wati's go-to-market approach in SEA
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of SaaS or B2B tech sales experience, ideally handling SMB or mid-market clients
  • Strong track record in inside or remote sales with proven track record of exceeding quota
  • Excellent communication and demo presentation skills
  • Fluent in English (required); proficiency in Malay and/or Mandarin is a plus
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a high-growth, remote-first environment
  • Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Bonus: Background in eCommerce, marketing tech, or customer engagement solutions
