Job summary

A local trading company located in Malaysia is seeking a Merchandiser to ensure products are displayed according to brand guidelines. Responsibilities include managing stock levels, checking expiry dates, and submitting reports. Candidates should have at least one year of FMCG merchandising experience and must have their own transport. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and able to work independently. This role requires frequent travel to multiple store locations across Selangor.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification required.
• At least 1 year of experience in Supermarket/Hypermarket & Pharmacy merchandising.
• Able to travel to multiple stores, own transport preferred.

Job description

💰 Salary: Basic + Allowances + Incentives

Merchandising Territory : Ampang, KL 1, KL2, Mont Kiara, Setapak, Rawang, Jalan Ipoh, Wangsa Maju, Sentul, Selayang, Gombak, Batu Caves

Your role as a Merchandiser:

• Ensure products are neatly displayed on shelves according to planograms and brand display guidelines.
• Refill stocks from back store and ensure no out-of-stock on shelf.
• Check expiry dates and follow FIFO.
• Place price tags and promotion tags correctly.
• Set up promotional and seasonal displays.
• Submit outlet display images & daily/weekly reports via WhatsApp and DingTalk.
• Build good relationships with store PIC and staff.
• Monitor competitor products and pricing.
• Support sales team during promotions/new launches.
• Take orders for selected pharmacy chain.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• At least 1 year experience in Supermarket/Hypermarket & Pharmacy merchandising (FMCG experience is preferred).
• Able to travel to multiple stores (own transport preferred).
• Able to perform store merchandising duties, including lifting and arranging products.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Own vehicle and able to drive to work (car preferred).
