Job summary

A healthcare provider in Malaysia is seeking a Medical Officer preferably with aesthetic experience. The role includes supporting daily medical operations, conducting medical procedures, and providing consultations. Candidates should hold an MBBS/MD, with a Full Registration Certificate from the Malaysian Medical Council. Aesthetic and emergency experience is a plus. This position does not require shift work on Sundays or public holidays. Shortlisted candidates will be notified.

• Possess Full Registration Certificate and a valid Annual Practicing Certificate from the Malaysian Medical Council.
• Added Advantage: A Letter of Credentialing & Privileging holder with aesthetic experience.

Job description

MEDICAL OFFICER (Preferably with Aesthetic Experience)

• Responsible in supporting daily medical operations.
• Demonstrates a high level of knowledge and competency in performing medical care procedures, assessments, treatment and techniques.
• Ensure all medical data, including discharge summaries, are recorded accurately and in detail, as well as all documentations to be properly filed and kept.
• Provide accurate and detailed medical consultation/counselling and interpret medical results to patients.
• Prescribe drug therapies and/or other appropriate products and services.
• Provide accurate and detailed medical consultation and treatments for skin, laser and other aesthetic services and procedures available in the centre.
• Establish and maintain team work and cooperation with the multidisciplinary team to ensure maximum coordinated care benefits.
• Keep abreast of new developments, skills, technology and current literature in order to initiate and respond to changes in the work environment.
• Other duties as and when assigned by the Company.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• MBBS / MD or its equivalent from recognized institution.
• Possess Full Registration Certificate and a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) from Malaysian Medical Council.
• Added Advantage (not compulsory): A Letter of Credentialing & Privileging (LCP) holder with experience in aesthetic services and procedures.
• Added Advantage (not compulsory): Experience in accident & emergency (A&E) services and procedures.
• Positive attitude, meticulous, a team player, pleasant personality, professional and performance oriented.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
