Job description

MTMY began operations in 2019 with a portfolio covering both CNS and CV therapies, with our key innovations centered in the CNS area.

Department: Medical Affair

Reporting to: Managing Director

Working hour: 8:45 am - 5:30 pm (Mon - Fri)

Working mode: Hybrid

Responsibilities
  1. Scientific Program Coordination and Execution
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute scientific programs such as CME, symposia, workshops, webinars, and speaker activities in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
    • Develop event timelines and logistics plans to ensure successful delivery.
    • Liaise with external experts, healthcare professionals, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of all medical events.
    • Engage with commercial team in field activities to support scientific discussions and educational outreach.
  2. Scientific Communication and Content Development
    • Educate healthcare professionals on scientific data, efficacy, safety, and on label usage in accordance with approved product information.
    • Co‑development of educational and promotional materials with Marketing, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance.
    • Create and deliver training materials for internal stakeholders to strengthen medical and product knowledge across teams.
    • Address scientific and clinical inquiries from healthcare providers, including those related to off‑label use, in accordance with company and PhAMA guidelines.
  3. Ensuring Scientific Integrity and Compliance
    • Ensure that all scientific communication and promotional materials are accurate, precise, scientifically supported and compliant with internal SOPs, regulatory standards, and industry codes.
    • Maintain complete documentation and records for audits, reporting, and regulatory submissions.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Regulatory Affairs to review and approve scientific claims in promotional and educational materials.
  4. Strategic Scientific Engagement and Insights
    • Act as a scientific liaison to bridge the gap between medical discussion and commercialization.
    • Engage with KOLs, HCP and regulatory bodies to advance science and improve patient outcomes.
    • Conduct non‑promotional scientific discussions, provide in‑depth information, and respond to complex medical inquiries.
    • Gather and analyse real‑world evidence and field insights to inform product strategy and future initiatives.
  5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Management departments to align scientific initiatives with business objectives.
    • Coordinate and engage with regional cross‑functional teams to ensure consistency in scientific messaging, share best practices, and support regional strategies.
    • Support other functions as needed.
Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or a related medical discipline.
Experience
  • More than 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific/Medical Communications, or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience supporting commercial or marketing teams in scientific or educational activities is an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical product information, clinical data, and therapeutic areas (CNS experience preferred).
  • Ability to translate complex scientific information into practical communication for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with industry codes, local regulations, and compliance requirements for scientific and promotional activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
