Company Background:

Job Description
  • Design and optimize mechanical structures for power distribution and diesel generator containers, ensuring compliance with ISO 668 standards.
  • Conduct structural simulations (FEA) to validate performance under seismic (Level 8), wind (Typhoon Level 14), and waterproof (IP55+) conditions.
  • Calculate airflow requirements and optimize air channels for generator cooling; integrate noise control solutions to meet 85dB(A) @1m.
  • Design for corrosion and dust protection in harsh environments such as coastal or desert areas.
  • Plan equipment layout with adequate service space (min. 600mm), and incorporate user-friendly features like sliding bases and quick-release panels.
  • Select suitable materials with a balance of strength, weight, and cost; define anti-corrosion processes to meet 15-year durability targets.
  • Use SolidWorks/Revit to generate 3D models, fabrication drawings, and BOMs; support manufacturing through detailed documentation and cross-team coordination.
  • Participate in design analysis, supplier evaluation, production support, and continuous process improvement.
  • Prepare and manage technical documents including SOPs, DFMEA/PFMEA, and validation reports.
  • Assist in project planning, cost control, risk management, and support ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Design, Power Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in modular power containers or high-power electrical enclosures.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and FEA/thermal tools such as ANSYS or COMSOL.
  • Familiar with standards such as ISO 668, EN 12079, ISO 8528, GB/T 2820, Uptime Tier, TIA-942.
  • Skilled in sheet metal design, including welding, stamping, bending, and cutting.
  • Able to collaborate closely with electrical, HVAC, and production teams to ensure integrated design.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills in thermal, acoustic, and vibration control.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (required for communication with China‑based engineering and production teams).
  • Bonus: Familiarity with hydrogen power container design, Uptime Tier III/IV certification, or relevant engineering licenses (e.g. PE, FEA certification).
Bonus Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Uptime Tier III/IV requirements.
  • Experience in hydrogen container design and explosion‑proof solutions.
  • Holder of P.E. license or FEA‑related certifications.
