Job description

Overview

• Develop and modify mechanical designs based on product requirements, specifications, and application needs.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and assemblies.
• Define dimensions, tolerances, materials, and finishes to meet functional and test requirements.
• Evaluate design alternatives and support design optimization.

Test Development & Validation

• Define test methods to verify design performance, functionality, and robustness.
• Develop test setups, fixtures, and procedures required for validation.
• Ensure test coverage adequately addresses critical design risks and failure modes.
• Support design reviews with data-driven technical input.

Cross-Functional Technical Collaboration

• Provide technical clarification internally & externally related to design features and test outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical or equivalent
• Strong proficiency in mechanical design principles and CAD tools preferably SolidWorks
• Minimum 7 years experience in testing, validation, and test method development.
• Knowledge of tolerancing, materials, and mechanical behavior.
• Familiar with DFMEA, test documentation, and validation processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English), detail oriented, structured & technically driven
• Knowledge in plastic precision parts manufacturing process such as welding, forming is an added advantage
