Job description

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for driving the design, development, and introduction of new products to market. This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams, including design, quality, and manufacturing, to ensure product success from concept through to production. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with experience in mechanical design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for new products.
• Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to ensure product requirements are met.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
• Perform product testing, validation, and troubleshooting to meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize product design for manufacturability and cost‑efficiency.
• Provide technical support during the transition of products from development to production.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance product quality and design processes.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• C++ & Arduino Knowledge is required.
• 2D & 3D Drawing Skill is required.
• Strong knowledge of product development cycles, from concept through to production.
• Experience in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and components.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
