Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage and optimize raw material planning, ordering, and inventory processes to achieve critical service and inventory objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of raw material usage, execute daily planning for web stock materials, and implement standardization of planning processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain robust vendor management processes for accurate forecasting and timely ordering.
  • Spearhead mission‑critical projects to enhance raw planning, inventory management, and service quality, including implementing rigorous cycle counts and loss reduction initiatives.
  • Provide essential support for new product introductions and transitions to ensure seamless integration into existing processes.
  • Efficiently resolve invoice exceptions and coordinate international orders through meticulous collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Contribute to the optimization of sales order management and execute key inventory initiatives across the site to drive operational excellence.
  • Oversee the daily editor schedule with precision, working in close coordination with operations, scheduling, and engineering teams to prioritize critical items.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Material Planner position must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in scheduling, planning, or supply chain within the manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to take ownership of issues and drive results
  • Capacity to initiate and lead change effectively
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to anticipate and address customer needs proactively

  • Proficiency in utilizing enterprise lean sigma (ELS) problem‑solving tools, including A3 Thinking or other lean methodologies
