Job description

As a Marketing Manager focusing on consumer & retail marketing, you will be working with our leading client - one of the largest tech brands shaping consumer technology as we see it today.

As you guide them through end-to-end marketing communications and ensure they adhere to brand guidelines. You will collaborate closely with internal teams as well as external partners, including agencies, distributors, retailers, operators, and other channel partners. This role is pivotal in facilitating the successful introduction of the client’s products to the SEA region. You will also help define regional guidelines and deliverables for online and offline marketing. You will work with global counterparts to develop and implement these guidelines.

This role will suit someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and a highly dynamic team of marketers, project managers, and sales and creative partners.

Role
  • Collaborate with the SEA marketing lead to understand challenges faced by retail and carrier partners and contribute to solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams and agency partners to localise and develop launch and campaign assets while collaborating with distribution partners to ensure readiness for launches and campaigns.
  • Assess and consolidate marketing asset requirements for effective launch campaigns, incorporating the localisation of brand, retail, and client assets.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, tracking launch workstreams and ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Ensure product launch readiness for 3rd-party retail and client partners.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of merchandising assets for in-store and online touchpoints.
  • Communicate brand guidelines to external partners, ensuring launch compliance through collaboration with 3rd party resources (3PR), and manage legal and brand approvals.
  • Act as the representative for users and retailers in SEA, showcasing and leading digital retail innovations to meet regional needs.
You
  • 8+ years of experience in consumer marketing, retail marketing or omnichannel marketing.
  • Proficient in developing comprehensive marketing strategies and business plans, with a demonstrated ability to analyse customer and market insights and assess the effectiveness of marketing spend.
  • Capability to plan and manage initiatives at both the strategic and operational levels, leading to the successful launch of new products in the market.
  • A passion for retail and a track record of creating exceptional customer experiences. Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems, and scale effectively within a large organisation.
  • Ability to influence change and negotiate cross-functionally and with external parties
  • Strong program management capabilities, coupled with excellent stakeholder management and partnership capacity.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and techy work environment.
  • High energy, highly organised and a go-getter attitude coupled with a flexible mindset, teamwork and dedication to the project's success.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
