A prominent sports marketing company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and proven experience in the retail sector, particularly in the footwear and sports apparel industry. Responsibilities include managing campaigns, analyzing market trends, and driving brand awareness. Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required for success in this role.
Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business and sales objectives.
Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to guide decisions.
Set clear marketing goals and performance KPIs.
Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns, including in-store, events, and digital.
Coordinate with Overseas Department and internal teams to deliver effective promotional materials.
Monitor campaign performance and optimize for results.
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Maintain brand guidelines and strengthen market positioning.
Drive brand awareness and visibility in the Malaysian market.
Lead customer loyalty and engagement initiatives.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve marketing effectiveness.
Manage social media presence and online brand reputation.
Work closely with sales, merchandising, and store operations teams.
Liaise with external agencies, vendors, and business partners.
Partner with store managers to ensure smooth campaign execution.
Oversee digital marketing across social media, email, and online advertising.
Optimize website and e-commerce performance to improve conversion rates.
Analyze digital metrics and continuously improve performance.
Manage marketing budgets and control expenses effectively.
Monitor ROI and support informed budgeting decisions.
Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar role within the retail industry.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the footwear and sports apparel industry.
Demonstrated success in executing marketing campaigns that drive sales growth.
Proficient in marketing software, digital platforms, and analytical tools.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to travel between store locations as required.
Proficiency in spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required.
