Marketing Executive (Brand & Community Engagement)

PANGU Running is a sports and lifestyle company driven by innovation and community. We are the official distributor of COROS, the world-renowned GPS performance watch brand; BMAI, a leading running shoe brand focused on human performance and design; and PANGU, our own in-house brand specializing in bone-conduction audio technology.

About the Role

We are seeking a Marketing Executive with strong initiative, creativity, and passion for sports marketing. This role focuses on brand building, event coordination, and community engagement. You will work closely with the marketing team, retail outlets, and external partners to plan campaigns, manage events, and deliver impactful brand experiences on the ground.

This is not just an office role – you’ll be in the field, engaging with the community, managing event setups, and ensuring every brand experience reflects the essence of PANGU Running.

Responsibilities

1. Brand Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns for COROS, BMAI, and PANGU.
  • Coordinate product launch events, pop-ups, and retail activations.
  • Ensure brand consistency across visual, digital, and on-ground executions.
  • Manage the production of marketing collaterals including bunting, display stands, and event signage.
  • Support press releases, partnerships, and public relations initiatives.

2. Community & Event Engagement

  • Organize and execute community events such as running sessions, ambassador meetups, and sponsored races.
  • Liaise with running clubs, community leaders, and sports event organizers for collaboration.
  • Handle event logistics, vendor coordination, and branding setup.
  • Represent PANGU Running at races, expos, and launches as part of the brand’s outreach.

3. KOL & Partnership Support

  • Coordinate with KOLs and athletes to align their involvement with on-ground activities.
  • Manage brand ambassadors’ event schedules, uniforms, and media content.
  • Track deliverables and ensure performance reports are completed after each event.

4. Analysis & Improvement

  • Prepare post-event and campaign reports with measurable outcomes.
  • Gather market insights, customer feedback, and competitor activities for improvement.
  • Propose new ideas for campaigns and community growth initiatives.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in marketing, event coordination, or brand management.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally for events or activations.
  • Passion for running, sports, or fitness community engagement.
