A prominent educational organization in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Marketing Coordinator to support admissions through targeted marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating marketing activities, executing digital campaigns, and managing content across various platforms. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Marketing and has 2-3 years of experience. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in digital marketing tools, with an emphasis on creativity and collaboration within a team-oriented environment.
Assist the Head of Admissions to ensure the marketing communication meets Charterhouse Malaysia's brand and quality standards.
Support the planning and implementation of annual marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with enrolment goals.
Assist in driving quality lead generation activity across digital and offline marketing channels to meet agreed targets.
Provide input in developing creative ideas for campaigns and promotions.
Work collaboratively with the Admissions team to ensure marketing activities directly support student recruitment objectives.
Support the Head of Admission in managing the annual content calendar to ensure consistent, timely delivery of posts and campaigns.
Work closely with the Admissions team to understand key enrolment priorities and reflect them in marketing messaging.
Coordinate the execution of marketing initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage day-to-day marketing activities, including:
Assist with on-site photography and videography during school events and key marketing moments.
Support the organization of marketing content shoots, including scheduling, shot lists and coordination with photographers/videographers.
Support the Head of Admissions in preparing marketing collaterals and content required for recruitment events, both local and overseas.
Manage and schedule content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
Execute digital marketing campaigns including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and display advertising.
Maintain and update the marketing database and assist in lead nurturing campaigns.
Create and maintain marketing materials (brochures, flyers, digital banners, presentations, etc.).
Support basic video editing and photography for campaigns and events.
Ensure consistent application of the Charterhouse brand across all content and platforms.
Develop simple creative assets when needed to support admissions promotions, parent events and Open Days.
Diploma/Degree in Marketing/Communications, Business related discipline in a similar role in marketing, advertising, or digital communications experience.
Minimum 2-3 years solid marketing experience or agency, preferably from consumer products, services or education sector.
Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage with parents, students, staff and external partners.
Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and drive.
Proficiency in various social and video platforms preferred (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficient in Design & Video Tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign etc.
Good command of both written and spoken English.
Fluency in Mandarin / Cantonese would be an asset.
Experience working closely with Admission teams or in student recruitment is an added advantage.
