Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Data Analyst to join our marketing team. This role will be pivotal in analyzing the performance of our Google Ad campaigns and transforming data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing analytics, particularly with Google Ads, and be proficient in creating insightful dashboards to track key metrics and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data from Google Ad campaigns to measure performance and identify areas for optimization
• Develop and maintain custom dashboards using tools such as Google Data Studio or similar platforms to visualize campaign performance metrics
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and translate them into measurable KPIs
• Conduct A/B testing and provide statistical analysis of campaign experiments to optimize performance
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to recommend optimizations and improvements to campaign strategies
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, digital advertising, and IT to ensure data accuracy and completeness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven 3+ years of experience as a Marketing Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on Google Ads analytics
• Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and/or other digital marketing analytics tools
• Experience in creating and managing dashboards using tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI, etc
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis
• Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages preferred
• Ability to interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to guide marketing decisions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
