Overview

This full-time Marketing Data Analysis role at Capital Box Berhad is based in Subang Jaya, Selangor. You will be responsible for conducting market research and data analysis to support the company's marketing strategies and initiatives. This pivotal position will provide valuable insights to drive business growth and success.

What you'll be doing
  • Track and analyze advertising performance (CPC, CTR, CVR, ROAS, etc.) and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Conduct competitor and industry analysis to benchmark the company’s performance
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and visualisations to present findings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data-driven insights into actionable marketing plans
  • Continually monitor campaign performance and suggest optimisations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest market research methodologies and technologies
  • Help manage Google Ads or Meta Ads campaigns
What we're looking for
  • Relevant degree in marketing, data analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in market research and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data mining and manipulation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights
  • Familiarity with market research tools and techniques, such as survey design, focus groups, and statistical analysis
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing and social media analytics
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Chinese are preferable
Hard Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads campaign setup and optimization; Meta Ads experience is a plus
  • Proficient in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Sheets/Excel, and Marketing Automation Tools
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization is an advantage
Soft Skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong data accuracy
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in cross-team collaboration
