If you are a Manufacturing Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting role for you!

Based in our Flow Controls (FCV) – Sempell Department located in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, you will play a key role in optimizing assembly processes, supporting product build readiness, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing & Process Support
  • Continuously improve line setup and workflow to optimize process efficiency.
  • Ensure smooth assembly operations by providing immediate technical support to the shop floor.
  • Learn new products thoroughly and conduct product training for assemblers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to assembly, testing, and product build.
  • Provide engineering support for production machinery and tools.
• Documentation, Procedures & Compliance
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing work procedures, including training operators and supervisors.
  • Ensure all engineering support activities comply with company goals, policies, procedures, and operating practices.
  • Assist in the development and execution of manufacturing documentation and procedures.
• Collaboration & Cross-functional Support
  • Work closely with Senior Manufacturing Engineers, Production Support Personnel, Operations Supervisors, Buyers, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Liaise with external contractors and vendors when necessary.
  • Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned by the Superior.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, OR Diploma with extensive manufacturing experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused on assembly and documentation.
• Knowledge and hands‑on experience with Isolation Valves assembly and testing.
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing and engineering documents.
• Experience in a mechanical assembly manufacturing setup.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in engineering and technical tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, Oracle, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated competencies such as Understanding the Business, Managing Execution, Interpersonal Savvy / Collaboration, Nimble Learning / Self-Development, Adaptability & Initiative.
