Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mandur for Oil Palm Plantation. This full-time position is based in Bukit Selambau, Kedah, and will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our thriving oil palm plantation.

What you’ll be doing

Supervising and directing a team of plantation workers to ensure efficient and effective operations

Monitoring the overall health and growth of the oil palm trees, and implementing appropriate maintenance and care procedures

Overseeing the harvesting, collection, and transportation of oil palm fruit

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Providing regular reports and updates to the plantation management team

Identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity

What we’re looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mandur or in a similar supervisory role within the oil palm plantation industry

Strong knowledge of oil palm cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting processes

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team

Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution

Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both plantation workers and management

Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Willingness to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
