Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in a relevant field; mechanical or electronic background preferred.
• Previous experience as a buyer in the automotive or electronics industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in basic English literacy; proficiency in speaking Mandarin is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP procurement modules and procurement processes.
• Strong skills in cost analysis, negotiation, supplier management, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 or ISO9001 systems is beneficial.
• Must be willing to travel or work remotely as needed and adapt to overtime during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage potential suppliers and conduct supplier access reviews.
• Organize supplier designation meetings and prepare related requests.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.
• Develop and track project procurement plans and parts development.
• Conduct annual price reduction negotiations and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Place purchase orders based on material requirements and track deliveries.
• Identify and resolve issues related to risk materials.
• Handle non-production procurement, including supplier selection, price negotiation, and delivery tracking.
• Reconcile incoming materials, verify invoices, and manage ERP entries and payment follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and company policies.
