Job summary

A leading tax advisory firm in Malaysia is seeking a professional to support the Tax Directors. The role includes assisting in tax advisory services, conducting training on tax-related matters, and managing tax-related publications. Ideal candidates will have a recognised degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 7 years of experience including managerial roles, and strong analytical skills. Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience, with 2-5 years of managerial experience.
• Preferably a member of MIA/CTIM.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director in advisory job related to direct or indirect tax.
• Conduct internal and external training on tax-related topics.

Job Brief

The position will support the Tax Directors in delivering advisory, providing technical expertise and developing training matters relating to both direct and indirect tax.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Director in advisory job replating to direct or indirect tax
• Attend to internal queries arising from the tax team
• Conduct internal and external training on tax-related topics
• Assist in tax-related publications and bulletins based on any tax updates / guidelines / gazette orders etc.
• Perform other official duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

• Recognised university degree and / or relevant professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Preferably a member of MIA/CTIM
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience, with 2-5 years of Managerial experience
• Strong technical ability, excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
• Self motivated, able to work independently and a good team player
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
