Responsibilities
  • Translate specific client pain points into detailed IoT architectures (including hardware and connectivity).
  • Deliver feasible, high‑margin solution designs that minimise post‑sale implementation issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the development of innovative, customised solutions that address client needs and align with market demands.
  • Create differentiated, high‑value solutions that meet client requirements and set the company apart in the market.
  • Plan and execute pre‑sales strategies that support the sales team in securing new business opportunities.
  • Assist in contracts and successful closing of sales through strong pre‑sales support.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and RFP responses, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions that result in successful client acquisitions and partnerships.
  • Lead the day‑to‑day technical response for tenders – RFQs, RFPs and RFIs, ensuring all documentation is submitted with high accuracy.
  • Achieve high technical win rates and reduce turnaround time for proposal submissions.
  • Identify & establish relevant technological products/solutions, strategic business with partners and vendors for integration into the solution ecosystem.
  • Formulate strong strategic relationship management with vendors and partners that enhance the solution offering and expand market reach.
  • Provide technical coaching to the sales team on new IoT product features and industry‑specific value propositions.
  • Increase technical competency of the sales force, leading to higher‑quality leads.
  • Align solution development and pre‑sales activities with overall business growth objectives, focusing on revenue generation.
  • Achieve sales and revenue targets, contributing to overall company growth and profitability.
  • Foster collaboration between sales, product, finance, procurement, delivery and marketing teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution and solution delivery.
  • Ensure seamless integration and execution of solutions, resulting in efficient sales cycles and successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure seamless transition from Pre‑Sales to the Delivery/Project Management teams through detailed documentation.
  • Minimise operational friction during the project kick‑off and implementation phase.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, telecommunications engineering or a related field.
  • 7–10 years in the technology industry, with at least 3 years in a technical pre‑sales or solution architecture role, preferably in enterprise and/or IoT domain.
  • Experience in IoT and enterprise technology solutions.
  • Pre‑sales and client engagement: experience working with management, presenting and defending technical solutions, and shaping strategic business decisions.
  • Strategic planning and business development: experience aligning team goals with company objectives, driving long‑term growth and innovation.
  • Solution architecture and design: including system integration, cybersecurity, scalability, and cloud‑native services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
