Sime Darby Auto Performance Sdn Bhd (SDAP) is the official importer of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia, taking over the local operations since 2010. SDAP is the authorised distributor and seller of Porsche vehicles and parts, and also provides After Sales Services for Porsche vehicles in Malaysia. It currently operates at Porsche Centre Ara Damansara, Porsche Centre Sg Besi, Porsche Centre Penang, Porsche Centre Johor Bahru. SDAP is under the Sime Darby Motors Division, a member of the Sime Darby Group.

JOB DESCRIPTION
General Management
  • Provide support to Manager – Marketing & PR in achieving departmental goals that contributes to the bottom line of the company by way of assisting in establishing the Porsche Business Plan, Sime Darby Mplan, budget monitoring and departmental organizational development.
  • Provide guidance and support to subordinates on Porsche business partners and customer relation activities.
  • Develop an effective marketing plans for the Company in order to increase brand awareness and attract prospective individuals, brand partners and/or customers.
  • Overseeing, implement and coordinating marketing campaigns and activities and ensure they are executed on time & within budget allocated.
  • Plan, propose and responsible for overall management of Porsche advertising and promotions including liaison with vendors and agencies as well as inter-departmental.
  • Monitoring and reporting of key elements such as principle driven monthly reports.
  • Executing any other tasks/projects as assigned by the immediate superior and/or the Management of SDAP.
Dealership Coordination
  • Provide guidelines and SOP on Dealer Marketing Initiatives for the Sales Managers as a guidance in establishing their marketing proposal for their respective Porsche Centre.
  • Assist the National Sales Manager in conceptualising, planning and implement dealer sales promotion and customers’ event.
  • Plan, implement and overseeing product launch/customer events, brand collaboration and sponsorship activity in line with brand and business directions.
  • Plan and coordinate required vehicles for launch and customers events.
  • Ensure smooth operations and coordination on all events and initiatives at the dealer level.
  • Guiding the respective Sales Managers in executing their respective events.
  • Overseeing, implement and coordinating marketing campaigns and activities and ensure they are executed on time & within budget allocated.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL
  • Education / Professional Qualification
  • At least a Degree holder in Advertising and Marketing
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia, additional language skill is an added advantage
  • Good written and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate efficiently to all levels of management
  • Knowledge in basic automotive terms and industries norms
  • Strategic thinking, business focus, good decision making and negotiation skills.
  • Good follow-up and meticulous, with eye for details.
