A leading insurance provider seeks a candidate to support recruitment initiatives and manage agent performance in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves executing strategic recruitment campaigns, mentoring new agents, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Candidates should have a tertiary qualification and at least 5 years of experience in the takaful or insurance sector. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, along with strong communication and critical thinking skills, is essential.
You are to support the Head of Future Segment & Activation in executing strategic recruitment initiatives, managing rookie activation programs, and driving agent performance and engagement. You are also require to play a key role in operationalizing recruitment campaigns, mentoring new agents, and ensuring consistent manpower growth aligned with business goals.
Implement targeted recruitment campaigns to attract quality agents, leveraging digital platforms and field engagement.
Ensure smooth onboarding and lead rookie activation programs to accelerate agent productivity and income generation.
Track agent progress, analyze performance data, and provide coaching to drive early success and retention.
Work closely with regional teams, training departments, and agency leaders to align efforts and share best practices.
Promote the organization’s Core Values and behavioral expectations within the team and across recruitment activities.
Adhere to regulatory standards, identify potential risks, and contribute to a culture of proactive risk management.
Assist in managing resources and budgets for recruitment and activation initiatives, ensuring cost effectiveness.
Explore and implement new tools, platforms, and strategies to enhance recruitment effectiveness and stay ahead of industry trends.
Education: Tertiary qualification from accredited university in any fields.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in the takaful or insurance industry, or in other business sectors involving business development, client engagement, or performance-driven environments.
Good communication skills (oral and written) – English, Bahasa Malaysia.
Self-initiative, has the ability in critical thinking, resourceful, able to work independently, and willingness to learn.
Knowledge and ability in utilizing advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint; and have data analytics skills.
Meticulous and sensitive to numbers and business environment.
Able to collaborate with other teams to drive positive outcome.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and adaptable to various challenging demands.
Able to generate new insights, conceptualize and implement to achieve results. This includes the ability to think creatively with proven critical thinking capability.
