Job summary

A leading advisory firm in Sepang seeks a Manager/Assistant Manager for Technical and Engineering Services. You will be the primary contact for both customers and internal teams, responsible for monitoring KPIs and managing technical teams. The ideal candidate has over 5 years in the field, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD. This role also involves vendor management and ensuring project execution. Job description
Manager/Assistant Manager, Technical and Engineering Services

Primary point of contact for customers and internal teams regarding equipment servicing, breakdowns, special requests, projects, and other required arrangements, including coordination of meetings.

Monitor and achieve departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set to ensure business and operational goals are met. Including Plan and support staff performance, staff development, training needed, coaching, counseling, work allocation, and skills enhancement.

Lead and manage a group of technical teams on daily operations and as well projects implementation.

Develop, monitor, and facilities and operation performance, including SLA achievements, service quality, and breakdown response reports.

Ensure timely submission of Documents, Internal Report, Customer Service Reports, invoicing, quotations, and etc.

Technical leadership, acting as a subject-matter expert to guide the team in troubleshooting, solution design, and operational decision-making.

Daily tracking on operation execution and project management activities, including planning, scheduling, service schedule and coordination, tracking milestones, and meeting timelines.

Manage vendor and contractor engagements, including site assessments, contractor and site activity. BOQ preparation, technical drawings, procurement coordination, project costing, and performance monitoring.

Develop, maintain, and review department process flow, operational documentation, including project schedules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Methods of Procedure (MOP), and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP).

Sustainability and Energy Management. Implement and support sustainable operational practices to reduce energy consumption at DC Facility and improve resource efficiency.

Perform any other duties and projects which may be assigned by the HOD or Company.

REQUIREMENTS:

More than 5 years of experience in a related field.

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical HVAC).

Possession of a Data Centre or Project Management license/certification will be an added advantage.

Strong knowledge in M&E facilities, building functionality, design, and calculations.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

Minimum 2 years' experience in managing teams, stakeholders, and vendors, with strong coordination skills to ensure smooth project execution
