About Our Client

Job Description
  • Lead and develop the Accounts Payable (AP) team, fostering a productive and supportive work environment.
  • Oversee the efficient and compliant management of Source-to-Pay (STP) and Travel & Expense (T&E) reimbursement processes, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Optimize cash management and ensure proper execution of payment terms.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly AP closing and balance justification.
  • Address stakeholder inquiries professionally to maintain strong collaboration.
  • Streamline and document AP processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Supervise AP activities and reconcile them with the general ledger.
  • Collaborate with accounting for month-end and year-end financial reporting.
  • Perform hands-on AP and T&E processing as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement continuous improvement (CI) projects to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Support financial statement preparation and other reporting requirements.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience/qualification. Professional Certification in Accounting/Finance is an advantage
  • Minimum 8 years of P2P experience in APAC region, with leadership experience in managing a team. (MUST HAVE)
  • Preferably candidate from mixture shared services environment and commercial.
  • Strong project management and advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP), and database tools (e.g., QlikView).
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, local GAAP, SOX, and financial procedures.
