Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and HSE regulations.
• Maintain good 5S practices in the workplace.
• Communicate efficiently among peers and superiors.
• Troubleshoot electrical and PLC breakdowns.
• Maintain machine spare part inventory levels.
• Improve downtime by adhering to MDT and MTBF.
• Execute maintenance duties as directed.
• Respond quickly during machine breakdowns.
• Communicate status with shift leaders.
• Apply improvements and develop new maintenance plans.
• Ensure compliance with checklist procedures.
• Follow company rules and regulations.
• Carry out multitask jobs for improvement.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance technician activities.
• Review and improve technician skill levels.
• Compile daily job activity records.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
• Monitor performance and discipline of staff.
• Prepare maintenance schedules for technicians.
• Supervise contractors for machinery maintenance.
• Contribute to the maintenance budget development.
• Perform machinery preventive maintenance.
• Manage daily activities of facility jobs.
• Inspect facility work periodically.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To ensure adherence to quality standards and adherence to HSE and safety regulation.
• To ensure and maintain good 5S practice in workplace and maintenance workshop.
• To communicate efficiently among peers and superior by using the communication tools provided.
• Troubleshoot electrical, instrument, DC drive and PLC breakdowns.
• To maintain and monitor machine spare part inventory level.
• To improve downtime by abiding with MDT (Mean Down Time) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure).
• Execute maintenance duties as directed by engineer/manager.
• Fast respond during emergency and breakdown of machines.
• Communicate with the shift leaders the status of parts, equipment and any other matters that might have an impact on their job through verbal and written means.
• Apply improvements and help develop new maintenance job plans & procedures.
• To ensure all checklist being recorded accordingly and compliance to procedure.
• To abide by company procedure, rules and regulations.
• To carry out multitask jobs to improve personality and productivity.
• To undertake any other ad hoc duties as instructed by engineer/manager.
• To schedule and coordinate maintenance technicians and lead technician activity and assignment.
• Monitor, assist improve maintenance technician skill level, knowledge and review of the superior work performance.
• Compile superior daily job activity such as breakdown records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics and test result.
• To participate in budget preparation and administration, coordinating purchasing and documentation and monitoring departmental expenditures.
• Assist engineer in work schedule and determining need for equipment and supplies.
• Monitor and advise the superior attitude, discipline and performance.
• To prepare daily facility maintenance schedules and coordinates facility maintenance work for technician in a weekly basis.
• Participate in coordinating of project and supervise contractor for machinery & equipment installation, repair work or maintenance works.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
• Perform machinery Preventive Maintenance (PM) and updating PM check sheet.
• To manage and assist in completion of day to day activities of facility job.
• Inspect and follow-up facility work periodically to determine problems and take necessary action.
