The Engineering Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the hotel’s engineering team, ensuring all facilities, systems, and equipment are properly maintained and operating efficiently. This role involves supervising maintenance activities, leading the engineering team, and coordinating with other departments to support smooth hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the engineering and maintenance team
• Assign tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and according to standards
• Oversee routine and emergency maintenance works (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical)
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify maintenance issues
• Assist in planning and managing engineering projects, renovations, and upgrades
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
• Implement and enforce safety procedures for staff and guests
• Monitor system performance and implement efficiency and energy-saving initiatives
• Maintain accurate records, work orders, reports, and maintenance documentation
• Manage inventory of engineering tools, equipment, and supplies

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in hotel engineering or maintenance; supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
