Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Leader to oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery. This role involves training production workers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and preparing maintenance reports. Candidates should have 1-3 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance and the ability to enhance production performance. Knowledge in plastic injection machines or terminal crimping machines is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.
• Proven ability to drive people to achieve and exceed production KPIs.
• Experienced in plastic injection machine or terminal crimping machine is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
• Prepares maintenance reports by collecting and analyzing information.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.

Key responsibilities for Maintenance Leader:

• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
• Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
• Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
• Experienced in plastic injection machine or terminal crimping machine will be added advantages.
• Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Enforcing Environment‑Safety‑and Health (ESH), company, industry, and government regulations.
