Role Description

The Maintenance Foreman oversees and coordinates maintenance activities to ensure all machinery, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently. The role involves supervising a team of technicians, planning preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining accurate records. The Maintenance Foreman also liaises with other departments to minimize downtime and supports continuous improvement initiatives for operational reliability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance team to carry out daily plant maintenance jobs.
• Attend and record machinery data such as vibration and temperature.
• Record electrical data such as meter readings and motor amperage.
• Check and troubleshoot machinery and electrical equipment abnormalities.
• Replace malfunctioning parts of equipment and machinery.
• Assist in commissioning new machinery, instruments and equipment.
• Assist in machinery spare parts storage and control management.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of maintenance workshop and spare parts storage control.
• Implement preventive maintenance program.
• Assist in updating maintenance program records.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations at all times.
• Comply with ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards.
• Adhere to all OSH regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by superior.
