Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer/Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will lead the team to reduce equipment breakdowns and enhance maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed corrective actions and implement them based on daily audits and result analysis on processes, equipment, and process tracking.
  • Be responsible for personnel under your jurisdiction and have the authority to evaluate performance and handle personnel administration within company policy limits.
  • Ensure relevant training and development is provided to improve job knowledge and workforce flexibility.
  • Monitor workplace safety conditions before starting any processes.
  • Ensure calibration and verification reports of equipment are within the specified periods.
  • Ensure all operations comply with statutory regulations, company procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and standards.
  • Initiate reviews to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and maintain high standards of maintenance and safety.
  • Supervise and organize daily maintenance activities and schedules.
  • Emphasize product quality by monitoring manufacturing processes and performing process improvements when necessary.
  • Manage and maintain the effectiveness of maintenance activities.
  • Minimize unscheduled downtime to achieve output targets and desired product quality.
  • Resolve production-related issues quickly and enhance facility equipment efficiency.
  • Ensure team and working area comply with safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • At least 4–5 years of experience troubleshooting pharmaceutical equipment, preferably in Mechanical, with strong industry knowledge.
  • Hands‑on experience in machine troubleshooting, repairs, and basic PLC skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Granulation, Mixing, Tableting, Coating, and Packing equipment.
  • Willingness to work overtime and support during machine breakdowns.
  • Hands‑on experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance (PM).
  • Proficiency in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Familiarity with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
  • Good command of English.
  • Proactive, energetic self‑starter with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; skilled in troubleshooting, multitasking, and mentoring.
