Job description

This position is responsible to manage the full spectrum of Maintenance Department, lead the maintenance team to meet business needs, ensuring production equipment is reliable and functioning well by developing and implementing a maintenance strategy to support all production lines.

Job responsibility

Responsible for the engineering leader of the plant on equipment maintenance, test system maintenance, software engineering support. Understand the impact on the business that result from overall engineering performance.

Perform continuous improvement on manufacturing capacity, identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining equipment reliability, implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan.

Plan, execute & monitor the department’s operating budget.

Plan, executes & monitor all mechanical and electrical equipment and building utility system and permanent structure in accordance to operations and planned preventive maintenance program.

Work with Procurement team to liaise with contractors and suppliers to negotiate for parts and services at the lowest costs possible without compromising quality assurance of parts and services.

Liaise with engineering team and consultants on the technical design and processes which meets project requirements.

Develop the knowledge and skill in Mechanical and electrical, Building by Law and Fire Fighting System to all subordinates.

To organize training for the maintenance technician, in order to up‑grade their job skills and knowledge from time to time.

Knowledge of wastewater treatment plants will be added advantage.

To maintain good housekeeping, safety and hygiene practices.

Job requirement

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical), Maintenance Management, or a related field. At least 5 years and above working experience in maintenance or engineering roles.

Proven experience in Manufacturing and Maintenance.

Proficiency in Mandarin speaking and writing are added advantage.

Proven leadership experience in managing maintenance teams.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties as needed.

Ability to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.

Strong understanding of maintenance processes and techniques.

Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
