Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in Cardlink systems to design, develop, enhance, and maintain payment processing applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mainframe technologies and hands-on experience working with Cardlink for credit/debit card transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Work on Cardlink modules for card issuance, authorization, settlement, chargeback, and reconciliation processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform system analysis, coding, unit testing, integration testing, and support for production systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues within SLA timelines.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders for smooth project delivery.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide production support during business and non-business hours when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Strong hands-on skills in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM.
• Proven working experience with Cardlink application modules and payment domain processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging standards and transaction switching is a plus.
• Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to other payment systems (Base24, VisionPLUS, FIS, etc.).
• Knowledge of batch and online transaction processing.
• Understanding of PCI DSS and other payment security standards.
