Job description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Operate CNC and manual lathe machines to fully optimize machine usage without compromising product quality.
• Perform daily machine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Update Job Packs and Oracle after completing processes.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area.
• Support Emerson quality standards and adhere to company safety regulations.
• Participate in safety, housekeeping, and cost-reduction activities.
• Attend to daily manufacturing orders, including rework tasks.
• Collaborate and support other machinists to ensure smooth daily production.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Machining.
• At least 2 years of experience in CNC/conventional lathe machining with hands-on machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to use measuring tools (e.g., calipers) and perform minor troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support productivity and workplace improvement.
• Knowledge of DMG Mori machines.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in CNC or conventional lathe machining.
• Ability to understand EIA and Mazatrol programming languages.
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Advanced skills in preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
