Job description

As an M&E Supervisor at Zalam Corporation Sdn Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the mechanical and electrical works for a variety of construction projects. This is a contract position based in Kapar, Selangor, offering the opportunity to work on exciting developments and contribute to the company's continued success.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the M&E installation team
• Ensure all M&E work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety protocols
• Liaise with project managers, contractors and other stakeholders to effectively manage project timelines and budgets
• Monitor progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise to keep the project on track
• Provide technical guidance and support to the M&E installation team
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient work practices
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the M&E works

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 4 years' experience as an M&E Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including installation, testing and commissioning
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle challenges effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and reports
• Possessed Diploma or Degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
• Familiarity with relevant construction and safety regulations
