Key responsibilities

• Partner with 4PL (LLP) to oversee day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods across all routes and modes.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound transportation activities to meet customer delivery requirements and department performance goals.
• Manage carrier relationships and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize freight capacity, reduce transit times, and improve delivery performance.
• Monitor transport performance metrics such as on-time delivery, cost, and quality, and prepare regular operational reports to share with key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with supply chain partners like commodity managers and purchasing teams to streamline logistics processes and resolve any operational challenges.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support digital transformation initiatives in logistics operations.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, carrier management, and logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS, SAP systems).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with experience managing carriers and supplier relationships.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize logistics performance.
• Strong leadership and innovative, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools (e.g.: PowerBI).
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to fast-changing operational environments.
• At least 5 years of experience is required.
