Simosynergy Sdn Bhd is a growing and dynamic switchgear manufacturer, proudly based in Malaysia. We specialize in the design and production of Low Voltage (LV) switchboards and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear, committed to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient power solutions to industrial, commercial, and infrastructure clients.

The Logistics Executive plays a key role in managing and coordinating the company’s logistics and shipping activities to ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished products. This position is responsible for handling import and export documentation, monitoring shipment schedules, liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, multilingual, and experienced in logistics operations within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle and manage import and export shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
  • Monitor shipment status and coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely customs clearance and on-time delivery.
  • Verify that all shipping documents are accurate, complete, and promptly submitted to transporters or freight forwarders to prevent delays and minimize storage costs.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders to obtain the most competitive freight rates, inland transportation options, courier services, and sailing schedules according to agreed delivery terms.
  • Collaborate effectively across departments to support smooth supply chain operations and ensure efficient execution of integrated logistics processes.
  • Manage and maintain documentation related to the Manufacturing License and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.
  • Liaise with Royal Malaysian Customs (Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia) for updates on new regulations, procedures, or compliance requirements.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and assignments as directed by management to support overall logistics and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, Malay, and English — both written and spoken — is required to communicate effectively with suppliers and partners.
  • Strong understanding of import/export documentation, shipping procedures, and customs regulations.
  • Experience in handling Manufacturing License documentation and compliance.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive and adaptable team player who can work independently under minimal supervision.
