Logistic Supervisor (Warehouse/Transport) – Rawang

Chery Malaysia is hiring a Logistic Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day logistics operations covering warehouse, storage, distribution and transportation. If you enjoy leading a team on the ground and improving logistics performance, this role is for you.

Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Venue: Dewan Teratai, Batu 17, Rawang

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily logistics operations (receiving, storage, picking/packing, dispatch and transportation).

  • Coordinate inbound/outbound activities to meet production plans and delivery schedules.

  • Monitor inventory movement, accuracy and documentation (DO/GRN) and ensure system updates.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOP, 5S and proper handling of equipment/materials.

  • Plan manpower and daily workflow; coach, train and guide team members to achieve operational targets.

  • Control logistics expenses (overtime, consumables, transport costs) and support budgeting and monitoring.

  • Work closely with Production, Procurement, QA, Sales/Customer Service and other departments to resolve issues quickly.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce errors and minimize cost.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in logistics/warehouse operations in manufacturing, automotive, FMCG or distribution environments.

  • Experience supervising a team (warehouse operators/storekeepers/drivers).

  • Good understanding of warehouse operations, safety practices and basic cost control.

  • Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.

  • Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field is an advantage.

  • Experience with WMS/ERP systems is an advantage.

  • Forklift knowledge/license is a plus (if applicable).
