Job summary

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments, including import/export arrangements, customs clearance, and transport scheduling.
  • Prepare and process customs documentation such as K1, K2, K3, and K8 in compliance with Malaysian customs and free zone requirements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, and transporters to monitor shipment status and ensure timely delivery.
  • Resolve delivery issues and shipment discrepancies; coordinate corrective actions with relevant internal and external parties.
  • Prepare shipping documentation including packing lists, invoices, and airway bills accurately and on time.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of all logistics and shipping records for audit and traceability purposes.
  • Ensure full compliance with Customs, MITI, and internal company procedures and policies.
  • Keep updated with changes in customs regulations, tariff codes, and free zone policies.
  • Assist in tracking logistics‑related expenses and highlight cost variances to the supervisor.
  • Record, monitor, and report key logistics KPIs such as on‑time delivery, shipment accuracy, and delivery performance.
  • Propose ideas for improving logistics processes, enhancing efficiency, and reducing operational costs.
  • Assist in handling purchasing documentation and related paperwork.
  • Support purchasing activities and coordinate operational tasks, including issuing purchase orders (POs) and emailing POs to suppliers.
Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of working experience in logistics, shipping, or customs documentation.
  • Solid knowledge of import/export procedures and Malaysian customs forms (K1–K8) is required.
  • Good command of conversational and written English.
  • Hands‑on, well‑organized, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
