Logistic Executive (experience with LMW)

The Logistic Executive will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all logistics and supply chain operations to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of goods and materials. This role plays a key part in optimizing transportation, warehousing, inventory, and distribution processes to support the company’s operational goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced manufacturing and automation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, LMW regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and monitor the movement, storage, and distribution of materials, products, and equipment.
  • Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics activities including shipping, delivery scheduling, and documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, customs agents, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and customs clearance forms.
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve any transportation or delivery issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock control and warehouse operations
  • Negotiate and manage logistics service provider contracts to ensure cost efficiency and high-quality service.
  • Generate regular logistics performance reports and propose process improvement initiatives.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management (manufacturing industry experience is an added advantage).
  • Must have hands‑on experience with LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) operations, documentation, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, and international shipping regulations.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with ERP or logistics management systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin proficiency is a plus for liaising with overseas suppliers).
