BP Healthcare Group, a leading healthcare company, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. If you have a passion for driving, a strong sense of responsibility, and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport individuals and goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure all delivery documentation is accurate and complete.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with outlets/warehouse/logistic team for efficient route planning.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicles and company compound.
- Wash cars.
- Any other responsibilities reasonably expected of a Driver.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks when required.
Daily Checks
- Quick inspection for visible damage.
- Tire condition.
- All lights functioning properly.
- Check engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid levels.
Regular Maintenance
- Weekly: Check and adjust tire pressure, inspect tire tread, and clean wiper blades.
- Monthly: Inspect battery terminals, check belts and hoses, re‑check all fluid levels, and thoroughly check all lights.
- Quarterly: Inspect and replace the air filter and cabin air filter, and have a mechanic inspect brake pads and rotors.
- Semi‑Annually: Schedule a professional oil change, rotate tires, and have wheel alignment checked.
- Annually: Schedule a comprehensive vehicle inspection, have the battery tested, and consider flushing and refilling fluids.
Additional Tips
- Keep a maintenance log.
- Prepare an emergency kit.
- Wash and wax your vehicle.
- Ensure professional servicing.
- Always prioritize safety with valid documents, seatbelt use, defensive driving, and awareness of distractions and health conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM graduate or equivalent (Candidates with lower qualifications are encouraged to apply).
- Possess a valid D, GDL & E (Kejur) driver’s license with a clean driving record. License E (Kejur) holders will have an added advantage and salary may be negotiable.
- 5 years experience as a logistic / personal driver or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with local and regional routes.
- Excellent organizational skills and time‑management skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including packing, loading and unloading relevant goods.
- Familiar with the basic mechanics of vehicles (lorry, van and car) would be an added advantage.
- Ability to drive long distance and long hours.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
