Job summary

A leading legal consulting firm in Selangor is seeking a Legal Advisor to provide legal support on corporate, commercial, and operational matters. The ideal candidate will undertake responsibilities including drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and supporting dispute resolution. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and 3–6 years of relevant experience. Strong drafting and negotiation skills are essential for managing multiple legal matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–6 years of relevant legal working experience.
• Experience in corporate, commercial, or in-house legal roles preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and advisory on corporate, commercial, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, and legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and governance requirements.
• Support contract management for projects, vendors, consultants, and partners.
• Liaise with external legal counsels, regulators, and authorities when required.
• Assist in managing dispute resolution, claims, and litigation matters.
• Support board, management, and internal stakeholders on legal issues.
• Monitor legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Maintain proper documentation, records, and legal registers.
• Assist in the implementation and review of internal policies and procedures.
