Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer, School of Physiotherapy
Teaching experience in the following subject areas:
- Musculoskeletal
- Functional and Applied Anatomy and Physiology
Responsibilities
- To be involved in the preparation and delivery of teaching material, development of the curriculum and continually improve courses and learning experiences for students.
- To develop and deliver resources, teaching materials and assessments to meet programme/course/student frameworks and learning outcomes.
- To apply learning and teaching methodologies, processes, technologies and tools to deliver student‑centred learning opportunities in the physiotherapy discipline.
- To be able to link professional/ industry experience to pedagogic practice to enhance the student experience.
- To build professional relationships with students and provide timely and appropriate consultation.
Requirements
- Possess a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent with at least 3 years of teaching experience. Preferably those who hold a Master’s Degree in Musculoskeletal or Cardiorespiratory or Neurology Physiotherapy.
- Substantial clinical and/or research experience in Physiotherapy.
- Preferably with 5 years of experience working in clinical settings.
- Ability to contribute to curriculum, module and course development of the School.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to course and subject design, and to deliver student‑centred learning and teaching that includes the capacity to incorporate new approaches to teaching and learning.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work in a team.
